The way the dwellings are integrated into the environment of wooded and steep slopes as well as the use made of natural resources leaves little doubt regarding the intent of the promoters and owners.

The wood that was cut down on the spot has been put to use in a very worthwhile way to ensure comfort and ambience.

Energy is only produced by solar panels and water is collected in tanks for showering purposes. It is filtered and heated by solar energy. Drinking water is obtained after ceramic filtering.

The following organic body hygiene supplies manufactured in Dominica are provided: oils, shampoo, soap and moisturising creams. Biodegradable cleaning products and organic cotton bath towels are also available.

Various fruit trees have been planted in the surroundings and guests can enjoy tasty fresh fruit juices at will.

An exceptional location ★★

The houses are situated in the foothills of one of the mounts that tower above the Douglas and Portsmouth Bays, with the Cabrits National Park in between. An approximately one-mile-long track which can only be used by four-wheel-drive vehicles has been created through the forest to provide access to the dwellings.

The trees that were cut down for this purpose have been reused in the construction of 2 cottages and a house which are available for rental by the night or week. There are plans to build three other cottages. This peaceful place without any neighbour around provides a remarkable view and total immersion in nature.

Comfortable accommodation with great character ★★

The cottages are built with quality wood, namely gum trees, redwood, mahogany and white cedar.

They have generous surface area but electricity supply is not provided. You can, however, recharge your appliances with the batteries that are at your disposal. In the evening, solar lamps provide for the beaconing. There is no air-conditioning but you can make it without, on another hand, the surrounding tropical vegetation keeps the air fresh and on the other, you will be staying at an altitude of some 200 m. Furthermore, most of the partition walls are made of wooden Venetian blinds with adjustable blades that enable air circulation at will in the living spaces.

Comfortable accommodation in elegant surroundings at an acceptable rate. The cottages offer accommodation for 2–3 persons with an open kitchen, a shower room, toilets, a terrace and a sitting area with an exceptional view of the Caribbean Sea.

The villa offers a more generous surface with a beautiful seating area with deep leather armchairs and a dining area adjoining the kitchen.

Special mention for the water beds which provide comfort and hygiene and are especially valuable in tropical areas. Very good, towels are organic cotton.

Unity to discover the charms of thermal breezes which fill the place with fresh air and vegetal scents. An enjoyable experience for those who are fond of natural ventilation.

A good general service

The cottages provide accommodation for 2 to 3 people with an open kitchen corner, a shower, toilets, a terrace and a resting area.

For its part, the villa offers an even more generous surface area with a beautiful lounge area equipped with deep leather couches and a dining area next to the kitchen where you can have a candles dinner while watching the moon reflecting in the Caribbean Sea down below.

The equipment, furniture, kitchen and decoration are of high standard. It is also to be noted that comfortable water mattresses ensure maximum comfort and hygiene under tropical conditions.
