When the season and weather permit, sea kayaking is the most silent and ecological means to enjoy the natural beauty of the archipelago.

Quentin Cuillandre is a native of Molène who launched Breizh kayak Evasion to make visitors discover the natural heritage of its island in a sustainable manner.

Since 2006, he offers visitors the opportunity of paddling among the various islets, on their own or during supervised outings, and get closer to the fauna and flora of Molène. Besides the ever-present resident or migrating seabirds, it is not unusual to come across grey seals or bottlenose dolphins. The kayaks silently glide on the water, enabling visitors to approach the animals and live some unforgettable moments.

To enjoy the exceptional richness and clarity of the seabed, Quentin also offers optional snorkling. Equipped with 6 mm swimsuit, gloves and shoes, tourists dive between seagrass and kelp and cross all kinds of fish: wrasses, bass, mullet and pollock fish, and even dogfish for the lucky…

Picnic, sea fishing or night under the stars… Quentin offers various sea activities in a way that makes people enjoy the magic of the archipelago and respect it.

Quentin also offers kayak crossings from Molène and Ouessant and from Molène to Le Conquet for the most active ones.

A natural reserve ★★

The archipelago has a very rich natural heritage and it is home to one of the rare groups of bottlenose dolphins as well as the largest colony of seals on the French coasts.

This true haven of natural wilderness is protected by a significant number of regulatory mechanisms: its sites are protected by the Conservatory of the Coastline, it is a natural reserve, hunting and wild fauna reserve, a biosphere reserve and lastly, a natural marine park.

A native of Molène, Quentin wants to share as many natural wonders of the archipelago while respecting the flora and fauna and leaving the least possible impact on the environment.

Quentin offers its guests to do some snorkling in order to discover the wonderful seabed of Ledenez (peninsula in Britton language), Molène and the islets of Banaleg, Balanec and Trielen.

The sea kayaking and snorkeling equipments are secure.

As an islander, Quentin knows all the islands and islets by heart and can anticipate weather changes.

Quentin welcomes visitors every day between June and September in his wooden facilities on the pier facing the harbour of Molène.

Visitors can enjoy kayaking trips on their own or under the supervision of a guide.

The stand-up paddle is also offered for rent.
